WELCOME ME BACK!
was in bintan for two days!
left home at 9:30am for tanah merah terminal. met my cousins, aunties and uncles there! slept on the ferry ride there, with all the noise that my cousins were making. ugh! three cousins to be excat. tomer, perry and rachel. tomer's 6 years old. perry's 8years old and rachel's 7 years old! tomer and perry are brothers!
anyway..
checked in and we headed for lunch! the lunch was good! had spaghetti with cream and white wine! yummy-licious! brought my cousins to change into their swim wear while the parents sat there to talk and all. i was like my cousins' nanny for the whole trip. but it was fun! looking at tomer rolling on the sand like 'mua-chee'. the sand there is really really fine! and rachel digging here and there looking for seashells and perry using the watergun to shoot them! hilarious!
we were in the sea for about 3 and 1/2 hours yesterday! finding shells, building sandcastles, burying tomer,my dad and myself,
digging for hermit crabs,swinging on the hammock,kicking sand,shooting my little counsins with super-soakers,
enjoying the strong waves and most of all...
TANNING! went to our rooms to bathe and went for a good dinner! (((;
after dinner... we went to the beach to play guitar and sang songs! super fun! and i fell asleep there until my dad wanted to carry me. but i woke up. S: by the way... my room is sea-view. so the wind was really good but the sun was scorching hot! we stayed in huts, air-conditioned though. (: the huts were really nice. love the bed! heh! (x
anyway..
woke up at 7:30am this morning because my dad and mum were playing the guitar and singing at the porch. washed up and went out to lie on the hammock. lay there for awhile and my noisy cousin,tomer just had to spoil the silence and slammed himself into the hammock that my butt hit the sand under me. but he was really adorable.. rolling on the hamock like a crippled caterpillar trying to get into its comfortable cocoon. and he got angry with me because i laughed at him.
then rachel came out and we went out to pick shells and she was like grumbling that she did not collect enough shells yesterday. so we walked down and because it was low tide, so there was the "pool" of water 5 metres away from the sea. tomer and rachel were so fascinated about that "pool" and tomer was about the dip himself into the water without changing into his swim wear but his pajamas when i told him not to. after awhile, we walked towards the sea. and because hermits live in wet area, the sand between the "pool" and sea was wet, there were A LOT of hermit holes. tomer asked," what's that?" pointing to one of the holes. "its a hole where hermit crabs live in" he immediately jumped, hugged my lower arm and pulled me back into that "pool".
imagine and he was like:" jie jie amanda, i scared, i scared." grabbing my waist area. super cute la! xD LOVE HIM!
went for breakfast at 8:30am.
had breakfast buffet! yum!
after breakfast, we went to change into our swim wear and my brother and i went
kayaking! super fun! cause we went far out and we saw like corals and
jellyfish as the water there was quite clear, though not as clear as pacific ocean's. then we went back to shore and let the three younger counsins in the kayak while my dad, bro and I pushed them around. but not too far, otherwise i cannot touch the ground. shaked the boat, pushed them fast and they were screaming and having fun!
when we had to return the kayak, perry
rolled off the kayak and that made the kayak sway. you should have seen him roll off. he looked like a really fat ball rolling cause he is fat, he eats A LOT! even more than my brother! then i carried rachel down as she did not know how to swim and did not believe me that it was really shallow there as we were near shore. and tomer did not want to get off the kayak until he saw how rachel clinged onto the kayak and kicked her legs splashing around. then i carried him down and at that same time, a huge wave came, so he wanted to go back to shore.
so we went to shore to play and after awhile went back into the sea to "play" with the waves with tomer and his mum. and i drank a whole lot of salt water. ugh! and now my throat is kinda dry. S: brought tomer to bubble-bathe. he made the whole toilet floor wet la. splashing sround in the bathtub. goodness! after drying him, perry came in. so again. bubble-bathe him. then i went to bubble-bath myself! xD heh!
okay. im really tired of typing. shall cut short. then we packed and left for the ferry terminal. and the ferry ride back was really choppy that i felt sea sick. okay done.
